Birr Ireland
An update to my last post. Just rechecked my data and the X ray flare is visible! It disturbed the gradual climb in the signal of station NAA from the US. This is unusual as the strength of the night time signal would be expected to mask any flare activity. It was a lucky break in the timing of the flare and the fact that I was monitoring a station from the US whose signal strength only increases sometime after sunset in Ireland.
