I was at home watching tv when I remembered at the last minute that it was supposed to be an incredible moon to shoot tonight. I rushed out and thought I had missed it, until I saw the tiny sliver sitting there. It took several minutes sitting on a highway overpass to find it. I rushed to the darkest area I could find and snapped a few shots. This shot looks west, over top of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I think the 'beautiful red' over the city is a combination of the incredible pollution from the steel factories and the light being scatterd through the atmosphere from the setting sun. I ended up quite pleased with this shot, glad I got it...
