Details:
30 second exposure with the 1.2m telescope at the Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory in Southern Arizona. Sloan i filter with KeplerCam. I positioned the scope ahead of the asteroid in the sky and started taking many images to catch this little speedster. Most images came up empty, several caught just a portion of the trail and this one (the only 30 second exposure I took) is not only framed nicely but filled the frame. One of the more challenging yet fun observations I have made!
