This summer of 2009 will be remembered as the 'Noctilucent Summer'. I never saw such a Noctilucent storm as tonight the 14th of July just before midnight. At least 1/3 of the sky was covered with NLC's in all different patterns. Taking pictures with a 200 mm lens is great fun, because of the fantastic odd structures in these clouds. All pictures with a Nikon D300. With Photoshop I have improved contrast without colorchange to reveal more detail.
