Even though all the hype around Comet Lulin dealt with its passing Saturn on the 24th, the comet is still cruising through Leo and has developed a very 'cometesque' tail. It makes a lovely subject for photography. The night I took this I had clear skies when I started setting up my equipment and by the time I was ready to take photos I was almost clouded out. I managed about 2 minutes worth of exposure before it was completely overcast. March weather is definitely on the way! This reminds me off all the fun we had with Comet Holmes. 14x10s subs, ISO 800, Nikkor 180mm ED f/2.8, Canon 20D
