For at least two weeks, no stars and planets could have be seen in southern Germany because of bad weather. Now the first clear cold autumn night showed two bright objects in the evening sky: Jupiter and Venus. Please see the image file, which shows the planets shining over Weikersheim, a small German town. Image: Canon EOS 40D, EF 50 mm f/1.4 lens, exposure time was 10 seconds at an ISO speed of 400. Location: Weikersheim, southern Germany, near the Weikersheim observatory.
