Hi Tony,the Long Night's Moon here produced the goods! Some high cirrus produced one of the most beautiful moon halo's I have ever seen. Look closely at the first image,for some reason the Lower Tangant Arc (LTA) appeared dark as against the brightness of the UTA.This effect only lasted a short while then it was back to normal. Also in this same image keen sighted readers will spot Orion on the left and Capella at top.Images taken with Canon 400D with a Besel Fisheye add-on lens 6-8 seconds on ISO1600.0200-0300UT.
