Details:
These pics were taken just after 9:00 in Central Maine. We have rain moving in and I was lucky to have a short window in which to capture the bright, green bulbous aurora behind the cloud bank. Even to the naked eye the green light was brilliant. Unfortunately, the sky is now completely obscured by clouds! Details: Nikon D-80, 2 minute exposures at 4.5 aperture and 200 ISO.
