Shortly before falling asleep I noticed that I left my wrist watch (with the morning alarm) in the bath-room. Looking out my roof window facing North a saw a bright noctilucent cloud above the NE horizon. I hurried downstairs, fetched my Canon EOS-400D, a tripod and a remote control to get that great display into my camera. This is what I saw - brightness was declining rapidly and a quarter of an hour later the clouds were fading.
