Two cameras a Nikon D200 and D700 were taking pictures at the time of the Utah fireball at 12:07 (07:07UT). The D200 was facing SE away from the fireball yet it recorded increased light at that time. The D700 was facing north towards Utah. The light was so bright it looked like a false dawn and landscape features became visible. Both cameras were set manually so illumination differences between the frames 1 minute before and after are accurate.
