Hi Tony Jupiter and Venus looked fantastic tonight only about 3 degrees apart. By the time I saw them they where very low in the SW shinning through a dense bank of freezing fog which has enveloped the land for the last 24 hours. The planets could be seen no problem due to their brilliance. Here they are among the fog, frost, and smoke above the street lights of Maghera where I live. They stand out very well from these distracting subjects! Fujifilm S6500fd 6.3MP ISO200.
