More bright Noctilucent cloud activity on the night of July 8-9. Shots taken just after midnight. This display was very broad and covered from due west to 40 or so degrees NE. There was a strong horizontal band of that went almost the full width of the display and some lighter structures that went up to 30 degrees or higher above the horizon. The first image is shot with a Canon 10-22 zoom at 10 mm with a Canon 40D. Second image is a closeup of the area with the zoom at 22 mm. At 10 mm the field of view is ~96 degrees horizontal, and at 22 mm the FOV is 53 degrees.
