The rocket launched at around 7:30 pm (Eastern Time) from the NASA Wallops Flight Facility. It was a four stage rocket and you could see each stage ignite one after another. About four minutes after the launch, it released it's charged aerosol payload to create artificial noctilucent clouds. The release formed an impressive, bright cone shaped cloud.
