While busy clearing buckthorn brush at the edge of our woods, I saw a sight that literally made me lie down on the job: A bright circumzenithal arc. It was accompanied by a sundog in some appropriately named fallstreak clouds. I had said earlier to my husband Brian, that if the oak trees could, they would smile at the invasive undergrowth being removed...I guess this was it!
