The low altitude of the Sun and the lateness of the cloud clearing meant that trees obscured my view today. Not to be outdone, I set my equipment up indoors and pointed my solar scopes out of a bedroom window. Heat leaving the house caused seeing problems but I was able to catch some detail before the clouds rolled in once more. Of interest is the large region of prominence activity visible over the north-eastern limb. A sign of more to come perhaps?
