Dazzling Venus was closing on the beautiful star cluster known as the Pleiades or Seven Sisters last night. In this shot, I've stopped down the aperture of the lens used to take the shot. The bright planet causes some spectacular diffraction spikes when this is done - be careful, they're really sharp!
