I wanted to do a dress rehearsal for the real show on Tuesday morning so early this morning I was up looking for Perseids. I saw four bright flashes in the hour that I spent observing for Perseid meteors. This was the only one that the camera recorded in 3 hours I had it setup for. One third of the time was cloudy and/or had a longer focal length used. This was taken from my backyard in the city. Tonight I will be in a darker sky out on my farm. Photo details: Nikon D200 DSLR, ISO 400, 30s exposure with Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G Fisheye lens at f/2.8.
