This month,its 10 years ISS!! This is a recent image taken in the anniversary month of the space station and it shows nicely one of the goals of the upcomming STS-126 mission:The solar panels on the Starboard side are clearly not tracking the sun like the other solar panels on the port side,but they are faced to Earth.During a pass overhead the camera sees exactly its plane.One of the activities of the STS-126 mission is the repair of the Solar Alpha Rotary Joint were problems are found since the STS-120 mission.
