A part of the Eclipse City group made a last-minute move out of Shanghai to Chongqing when it was clear that the weather would not be clear for Shanghai. We do not regret the decision. We saw all of the 4 minutes, 8 seconds of totality. There was a high overcast drifting in from the north and west which produced a 22 degree halo around the sun through totality. The high cirrus turned orange as there were two streamers on either side of the sun, creating a fiery sunset effect. We also had haze and some smog; we set up in a new park and recreation area in the center of a metropolitan area of 33 million people. Of course, we could not make out much of the coronal streamers. I will have to work on these digital images to bring them out. This inner corona image is 1/60 second at f/4 using a Fuji S2 Pro and a Tamron 300/2.8 lens.
