Using a cctv security system I recorded a nice Geminid Meteor that produced enough color to be recorded in realtime. The meteor was bright enough that it provided a nice surprise the following morning after the skies had clouded over. I was amazed that not only was I able to visually see this meteor in the very cold Nebraska evening, but the color KT&C KPC-650CH ExView CCD camera was able to capture the image using a standard varifocal 5-50mm lens at F1.3.
