Details:
A dull green arc became apparent on the southern horizon after dusk. Over the next 2 hours several brief outbursts of vertical rays developed, clearly visible despite the near full moon. Modified Nikon D70 (IR filter removed), ISO800, 20mm lens at f/2.8, 5-6sec exposures.
