Beautiful display of the Southern Lights from the south of New Zealand. A dull arc hung around for a couple of hours before suddenly exploding with a mixture of rays and curtains. Nikon D90, 8mm fisheye lens @ f/3.5, 25sec ISO 800; and Modified Nikon D70, 20mm lens @ f/2.2 (IR blocking filter removed), ISO800, 5-15 secs
