Beautiful warm night in Calgary Alberta canada and just stepped out to get some fresh air at midnight just before bed and saw the glow off to the West. I grabbed my Canon 30D and tripod and spent the next hour or so shooting and enjoying on of the few warm nights in Calgary this year. Visible over the glow of the city lights and almost hitting the apex abouve my head. They streched far enough East that Jupiter is in the on shot looking across the bow river valleyEast of my location.
