On November 13, 2009 Makoto Kamada wrote to SeeSat-L to tell us that he had developed a 3D satellite viewing program that's accessible here: http://mada.la.coocan.jp/sat/index.htm?lang=en With his permission I used it to create cross-eyed and anaglyph stereo images of a number of satellites in orbit around the earth as seen on 12/12/09 at 19:06:00 local Iowa time or 12/13/09, 19:06:00 UTC. One frame was centered over 42.5N, 94.3W and the other was centered over 42.5N, 90.3W. The satellite size was set to an apparent 366 km diameter and the viewing altitude was 33712 km. Only the colored satellites were selected.
