I saw it visually just a few seconds with the 7x50 bino. Was bright twilight with sun at -8 degrees and max 25 degrees culmination SSW. Looked even then spectacular. Tail was following direction and clearly bent towards Earth. A pity I couldn't observe it longer visually as I switched to videocam for capture. But now I at least have a pic! Would have been a spectacular naked eye sight if it was darker and higher in the sky.
