The auroras weren't too bright so I went with longer exposure shots than normal.Canon digital rebel,50mm 1.4 lens at F2, iso 100, 90-97 second exposure times.

Wonderful, warm spring night with a crescent moon near the Pleiades setting in the northwest, topped by wonderful northern lights. A real treat, and not at all expected! Nikon D70, ISO 500 @ around 22:30 UT, 00:30 local daylight savings time.

Diffuse Aurora were out all night with a crescent moon at the other side of the sky. Pentax *istD, SMC-FA 24mm F2.0 lens.

Short lived and very late from 12.35-12.55GMT. 10degree Arc with a few rays. Photo is a 22sec exposure, Fuji S3 at ISO 1600 with Sigma 15mm Fisheye f2.8.

Activity increased from 9pm to 11pm here in Sherbrooke. The most intense show happened aroud 10:40pm when the large arc broke up. Luminositiy and movement increased dramatically over a 3 minute period, and the show lasted about 10 minutes. Taken with a Nikon D70 digital camera, ISO 800.

I went out and noticed that telltale glow of aurora, then raced back in and got my camera. Nikon Coolpix 5400 30 seconds, ISO 400
