This is a wonderful example of a loop, or hoop. I have several
loop images but I think this is a particularly nice loop.
Full moon or nearly so but the Aurora was very visible.
13sec at f2.8 ISO 400 Canon MKII, 16mm. 6 shots stitched
into a pano. More to come from feb 19 following this first
pano. |

With
a clear sky, with all the predictions, I had to get some
pictures of the northern lights before the clouds came back.
So, during 2 hours, I went in a cold weather (-30 C) to
take a few nice picts... many colors. I start to like my
new camera a little more :) At the end, went I came back
home, I saw a very special Moon Halo... with 2 rings. Details
: Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 16mm, f 2.8, 400-2000 ISO, >10 sec.
