While the Northern Lights were not that great the crisp Alaskan night offered a wonderful opprotunity to capture star trails again right outside the house.

Testing a new lens and did not feel the need to go outside town, since there is so little light pollution around here. Shoot from my Balcony.

Last night the dance of the northern lights graced our arctic skies on Baffin Island. A photography friend of mine and I decided to climb a nearby hill to photograph the anticipated lights that were predicted for our area. An hour of waiting in the chilly night was worth our efforts - the lights did not disappoint.
