We headed up north to Parc du Mont-Tremblant to go camping like we do every summer during the Perseid meteor shower. Although the show was not as impressive as last year's, I luckily caught a few meteors in my shots. Nikon D90, 10.5mm focal length, ISO 3200, 48s exposure, F2.8.

Uncharacteristically, I'd just moved one of my camera's to point at the region including the Pleiades when a bright Perseid obligingly passed down through the frame! A great night with lots of meteors seen.

It was INSANE!!! I'm on my Honeymoon in Hawaii and I am lucky to have the perfect conditions for this years Perseid Meteor Shower. I have photographed Perseid meteors on Maui, Kauai and last night over Kiluea Volcano.. This meteor fell over southern Kauai on August 7th around midnight.. It was amazing to say the least.. I will be on Mauna Kea tonight for the peak! More images to come when I return to Philly on Monday! Nikon D3

I witnessed approximately 40 meteors over Powys, Mid Wales this evening - between the hours of 10.45 pm and 12.30 am. An absolutely amazing spectacle, and well worth climbing a mountain for. This shot was taken using a Canon 5D Mk II. The settings were as follows: ISO 800 Shutter speed: 8s. Lens: Canon EF 24 mm at f/1.6. Focus set to manual and infinity.
