Summary: Earth entered a solar
wind stream on May 8th that stirred up a minor G1-class geomagnetic storm. Intermittant
storm conditions persisted through May 9th and 10th. Many high
latitude sky watchers spotted auroras in spite of the bright
glare from a waning gibbous Moon.
