Nice red glow along the northern horizon...even a bit of structure visible at times. It's great to see the occasional aurora even though I've moved way down south! Canon 10D, 82sec, f/4.0, ISO 800. |

Around 9PM EST, the sky to the north began to glow here in NH. Expecting the aurora to erupt, I began to photograph the auroral band. Suddenly a -1 meteor streaked into the field of view. Nikon D70 set at ISO 800. 18mm F3.5 15 seconds. |

Taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel (300D). The aurora was only visible in the northern horizon, unlike two days previous where they covered about two-thirds of the sky. |

Aurora again in three days in Pittsburgh! Only a green arc this time, low above the northern horizon. It's short lived -- half an hour and it's gone. Canon EOS 300D digital camera. From Green Tree, Pittsburgh, PA. |
